About us

Novia Harrington is a twenty-year veteran of military service in the U.S. Navy and was a single mother for sixteen years of her military career. She experienced the great stress of leaving her son behind when she had to serve overseas. Even though Novia was able to place her child in the care of friends and family, she knew it was difficult for him to live without her. She wrote this book to help children who are dealing with separation from a parent—and to let them know that they are not alone.

A portion of the profits from this book will be donated to help orphans and to support an international, non-governmental fleet of hospital ships that provide life-saving surgeries to those in dire need.
